Livestock Exhibit Information

Thank you for entering your livestock for the 2013 State Fair of WV!  For information on entering for the 2014 State Fair of WV, please check this page beginning in January 2014.

Attention School Aged Exhibitors:

Students needing to miss school due to livestock/equine/show schedules for the State Fair of WV should contact, Kelly Tuckwiller, Agricultural Competitions Manager, at 304.645.1090 and utilize the form listed here ~ Excused Absence Form

With our continued commitment to protect and preserve our natural resources, the Exhibitors’ Guide for 2014 will be made available online for you to print at your convenience or you may contact the office directly to have one mailed to you.

Junior Livestock Show

Youth from all across West Virginia are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Annual Junior Livestock Show. Participants must be current members of a West Virginia 4-H or FFA organization.

Each year the State Fair of West Virginia hosts hundreds of FFA and 4-H members from around the state as they proudly show their market animals. Participating members then sell their market animals through the Annual Youth Livestock Sale. Business men and women, family members and community supporters come together in support of West Virginia youth by purchasing their animals. Thank you for your support!

Scholarship Donors

The Scholarship Program was established in 1991 with a purpose of providing premium increases and scholarships to 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitors. In the area of premiums, the program has seen wonderful success. All funds are now being dedicated to scholarships.
