The State Fair of West Virginia, with an $13 million dollar economic impact on Greenbrier County, is a 501 © 3 non-profit corporation committed to the traditions of agriculture, family, entertainment, and education.
Our marketing and advertising strategies are based on a core belief that success depends on partnerships with strong media and retail co-promotions. While cash sponsorships are important, we’re just as concerned about the promotional value offered by a sponsor program, the opportunity to leverage the Fair’s advertising budget, and the value of the sponsor program to the fair goer.
The annual State Fair attracts approximately 170,000 visitors and is the largest multi-day celebration in West Virginia. We have achieved the American Bus Association’s Top 100 event list and have been designated a Top 20 event in the Southeast.
Sponsorship opportunities are created for all budgets and to fit all marketing goals. Additionally, with the tremendous growth in year-round event rentals, new seasonal sponsorship can incorporate messaging on the fair’s electronic message sign which provides extremely high visibility on Rt. 219 south.
