State Fair Event Center’s Giant Flea Market set for October


LEWISBURG, WV (08/31/2010)(readMedia)– The 2010 State Fair Event Center’s giant fall flea market is set for October 1, 2, and 3rd in Lewisburg. The annual Giant Fall Flea Market showcases over one hundred indoor and outdoor vendors selling antiques, collectibles, crafts, new and used merchandise, and fall produce. Admission to the three-day event is free. Free parking is available on the main fairgrounds and adjacent to the Rt. 219 south bridge entrance. LEWISBURG, WV (08/16/2010)(readMedia)– The 86th Annual State Fair of West Virginia is going on now through Saturday, August 21 in Fairlea, Greenbrier County. According to State Fair Manager, Marlene Pierson-Jolliffe, opening weekend crowds surpassed those seen in recent years with Saturdays 35,000 plus crowd being a record. “We are thrilled to have had such a strong opening weekend and are looking forward to a busy week. Wednesday’s Jason Aldean concert is nearly sold out and the Thursday, August 19, Lady Antebellum concert is a sell out. Given good weather I have no doubt that this will prove to be one of our best years ever.”
