The State Fair of West Virginia Endowment and Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 to provide long-term support for youth education, agricultural programs, and scholarship opportunities connected to the Fair. Through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community partners, the fund helps preserve the traditions of agriculture while investing in the next generation of West Virginians.
Each year, the Endowment supports scholarships for students who have participated in State Fair livestock, equine, 4-H, or FFA programs. The program now awards six, four-year scholarships valued at up to $1,000 per year to students pursuing trade, associate, or bachelor’s degrees.
