Camping at the State Fair

 

LEWISBURG, WV (05/20/2011)(readMedia)– Whether you’re coming to enjoy nine fun-filled days during our Annual State Fair in August or just traveling through, you will find comfortable accommodations for your camping needs.

Camping opportunities at the State Fair are convenient and affordable. Public camping is available during fair time for a one time $10 registration fee and campers can stay one night or every night. These dry sites include access to four bathhouses and complimentary shuttle service to the fair’s main gate. Public camping facilities can accommodate all recreational vehicles, campers and tents.

The fair maintains a waiting list for campers interested in an electric only site. Campers who want to be added to a waiting list for these sites should contact the fair by emailing statefairofwv@statefairofwv.com or by mailing a letter to: PO Drawer 986 Lewisburg, WV 24901.

Visitors traveling through the Greenbrier Valley throughout the year can take advantage of the fair’s campground with full hookup capabilities offered April through October. Limited camping facilities are available from early November through late March. . The 2011 State Fair is themed “It’s All Here” and is scheduled August 12-20.
