Allan Dale Sizemore and the Lost Souls
Allan Dale Sizemore’s music style can be described as Americana or folk, deeply rooted in his West Virginia upbringing. Growing up in Trout Valley, WV, with limited access to guitars, he began playing an old Harmony guitar his uncle found in the trash and later learned banjo chords. This early exposure influenced his songwriting style, which often reflects his rural Appalachian heritage.
Backed by his long time band, the Lost Souls, consisting of Dan Freeman on bass and vocals and Nick Cornwell on drums and vocals, he carved out a muscular rock feel on many of his songs, but still keeps the versatility of his songwriting intact.
