Deadline Approaching for Discounted State Fair Tickets

 

LEWISBURG, WV (07/19/2011)(readMedia)– Don’t miss your opportunity to purchase discounted state fair tickets! The final day for discounted ticket sales is Friday, July 29. Gate admission discounts include an $8.25 adult ticket (13 older) and a $7.25 youth ticket (ages 6-12). Carnival discounts include a $20 Mega Pass, which is valid one day (August 12 or August 15-19) and includes 12 hours of rides! For smaller children the $15 Big Pass includes six hours of rides and is valid one day (August 12 or August 15-19). In response to fairgoers needs for more flexibility with ticket options, gate admissions are being sold separately of all concert and carnival tickets.

Gate admission, big passes and mega passes remain on sale after July 29th but will be priced at regular prices.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.statefairofwv.com, through the state fair box office, open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., or through participating BBT banks and Valley Independent Pharmacies (Alderman Pharmacy, Greenbrier Medical Arts Pharmacies, North and South, Union Pharmacy, Robert C. Byrd Clinic, and Western Greenbrier Pharmacy).

Concert tickets are available for all shows and may be purchased at www.statefairofwv.com or the State Fair Box office.

The 2011 State Fair is themed “It’s All Here” and is scheduled August 12-20.
