LEWISBURG, WV (05/29/2012)(readMedia)– The 2012 State Fair is scheduled August 10-18 and over 200 employment positions are available! Previous employees interested in working in 2012 are encouraged to file an employment application by mid-June as the hiring process will begin immediately. Hiring initiatives are being conducted earlier than in prior years with the goal being to have positions filled by July 15th, with customer service and emergency management trainings taking place prior to August 1, 2012. Positions will be filled based on experience and date of application, and all positions pay at least minimum wage. Applicants must be able to work daytime and evening hours.
