This year’s theme for the State Fair of West Virginia is “Mountain Memories.” It’s no secret that storytelling has a deep history in Appalachia, and we hope to celebrate YOUR fair stories by telling them!

We are looking for real stories submitted by real fairgoers who have impactful memories tied to the fair. Join us as we tell a new story every other week and as we celebrate the rich heritage and vibrant stories of our Appalachian roots.
