Flo Rida
Born Tramar Dillard on September 17, 1979, Flo Rida was raised by a single mother in Miami’s rough neighborhood of Carol City, Florida. Music helped Flo Rida stay on the straight path. His father was a talented musician who encouraged his son to express himself through music. Growing up, Flo Rida was exposed to all kinds of music, thanks in large part to his sisters, some of whom formed a local gospel group. When he was a teenager, Flo Rida found local success rapping with a group called the Groundhoggz. At 18, he became the hype man for Fresh Kid Ice from 2 Live Crew. Eventually, Flo Rida caught the attention of DeVante Swing, formerly of famed R&B group Jodeci and spent a few years in Los Angeles working with him. Unable to land a record deal, Flo Rida returned home to Miami and in late 2006 hooked up with Poe Boy Entertainment and its CEO, Elric ”E-Class” Prince.
In December 20, 2006 Flo Rida inked a deal with Atlantic Records and in 2009 started his own management company, Strong Arm, with longtime friend and manager, Lee ” Freezy” Prince. With the success of his management company Flo Rida and Lee ”Freezy” Prince launched their own record label, IMG, in June 2011. With his musical success Flo Rida got back to his roots of giving back and started ”Big Dreams For Kids” a nonprofit foundation that is committed to inspiring future leaders.
Restless Road
Made up of three different but complementary voices, country band Restless Road is “one of the most intriguing and exciting acts of the year” (Wide Open Country). Praised by People, Taste of Country, Billboard, and more, the trio’s powerhouse harmonies and soul-baring lyrics put them on numerous 2021 “Ones to Watch” lists, as members Zach Beeken, Colton Pack, and Garrett Nichols continue to rack up millions of streams. On January 21, 2022 they released “Growing Old With You” which topped the U.S. iTunes Country Charts for over 1 week, which they also performed as a feature on ABC’s The Bachelor.
2021 saw Restless Road on the road with Kane Brown as support on his “Blessed & Free Tour,” and their first headline tour, the “Bar Friends Tour” will commence on April 6, 2022.
With all signs indicating Restless Road is a contender for best new vocal group, its members continue to write, sing, and perform together as they take the next steps down country music’s long and winding road.

Walker Hayes, Chris Tomlin Added to State Fair Lineup
Country music star Walker Hayes and Christian singer Chris Tomlin have been added to the 2022 State Fair of West Virginia Concert Series. Chris Tomlin will take the stage on Wednesday, August 17, while Walker Hayes with Special Guest Tigirlily will close out the Fair on Saturday, August 20.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale Friday, April 8, 2022, at 10 AM, and will only be available via ETIX at https://statefairofwv.com/events/ or by calling 1-800-514-ETIX (3849) Monday through Friday 9 am – 6 pm or Saturday 9 am to 5 pm. Tickets will not be sold at the State Fair Box Office until later in the spring.

WALKER HAYES
Monument Records recording artist, Walker Hayes, is a singer/songwriter originally from Mobile, Alabama.
His recent EP Country Stuff includes the RIAA certified Platinum smash hit “Fancy Like,” which has topped every country streaming and sales chart since its release, and has spent 8 weeks and counting at the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs. State Fair of WV to Celebrate “Almost Summer in Almost Heaven”
LEWISBURG, WV (03/30/2022) (readMedia)– The State Fair of West Virginia is celebrating the soon-to-be warmer weather on Saturday, April 23, 2022, with “Almost Summer in Almost Heaven,” a new family-friendly celebration at the State Fairgrounds in Lewisburg.
Set for 1 pm – 8 pm, “Almost Summer in Almost Heaven,” will feature a car show, live music, fair food, shopping, activities for kids, cornhole and disc golf tournaments. Tickets for this event will only be available for purchase the day of. Adults 11 and older will be $5 to enter, and children 10 and under are free.
“The mission of this event is to bring families out to kick off summer and enjoy time together,” Event Organizer Ellen Dillon stated. “We will have activities for all ages at this event and hope that folks can come out to enjoy.”
Live entertainment throughout the day includes some hometown favorites; Seldom Free, Element of Us, The Half Bad Bluegrass Band, Cody Wickline, and Cody Clayton Eagle, who was recently seen on American Idol.

Zach Bryan to Perform at 2022 State Fair of West Virginia
Officials have announced Zach Bryan as the next addition to the 2022 State Fair of West Virginia Concert Series. This show is set for Thursday, August 18, at 8 PM with tickets going on sale Friday, April 1, at 10 AM.
“Zach Bryan has one of the most authentic voices and is one of the fastest-rising new artists there is,” State Fair CEO Kelly Collins stated. “I promise, you’re not going to want to miss this one.”

Clay Walker
Can Clay Walker deliver? That’s the question, and he’s not afraid of it. In fact, he’s positioned himself to answer it squarely – one way or another – this year. With new creative and business teams and a deep well of hard-earned wisdom, Walker relishes the challenge. “I’ve prepared myself for this moment in my career – mentally, physically and artistically,” he says. “I’ve never been more ready.”

Tracy Byrd became a household name on the Country Music Scene in 1993 when his third single, called “Holdin’ Heaven”, off of his MCA Records, self-titled debut album, hit #1 on the Billboard Country Charts. The Album also included the remake hit of Johnny Paycheck’s “Someone to Give my Love to” cementing Byrd as a Traditional Country Troubadour!! The Debut Album went on to be certified Gold, a award signifying sales in excess of 500,000 copies.
Byrd left the major label and released an album on his own, appropriately titled, “Different Things” Although this project was not commercially successful, it garnered Byrd his highest Critical acclaim of his career with Billboard magazine choosing it as one of their Top 10 Country Albums of the Year!!! Through all of these years Byrd became a promoter favorite on the road, performing over 4000 exciting shows across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia from 1992 until 2009! He then say’s he needed a break to take care of himself and his most precious thing, his family, wife Michelle, daughter Evee, and son’s Logan and Jared, who had taken a backseat to his career for year’s. He did not perform from 2010-2013, but in 2014 he got back to the music with a new band and a new found sobriety and love of the thing he enjoys so much. Byrd went back in the studio in June of 2016 and started work on his first project in 10 years. Recorded completely in Tyler, Texas at Rosewood Studios, that album is appropriately titled, All American Texan, which is exactly what he is and has always been. This album features 8 tracks written by Byrd, a fact he is very proud of. The album was released in October of 2016 and has been very well received by his fans and critics alike.
